My sister brought me some Amish Friendship Bread Starter when she visited me from Kentucky. This morning was baking day. So instead of making the original recipe, I made sourdough bread. You can find the recipe for the starter and the variations at Armchair World. Here are the results, what do you think?
Isn’t that the coolest thing? I can’t wait to try it!

We are going to have a busy week this week. It is the last week of school here, so we have awards days and an 8th grade graduation ceremony. Two of these will be a repeat from last week. Once because we had some unexpected guests and ended up ordering pizza. The other is from an unexpected meeting at the high school (aren’t kids great at springing those things last minute), so we ended up eating out.

Today is a holiday here in the USA so I was a little slow getting my menu together. Last week was so busy I hardly got to make any of the things on my menu. So some of these will be carry overs. This week should be a lot less hectic, thank goodness.
